Good lighting enhances your appearance and video quality. Position yourself in front of a light source rather than behind it. Filming in front of a window is a great place to start.

Framing
When framing your video, think of the video frame divided into 9 quadrants, centering your face on the line below the top quadrant. When filming landscape, position yourself in the center of the screen with a few inches of space above your head. This makes it easy to repurpose the video into shorts or square video. Place your phone or computer on a stack of books to level the camera or use a tripod to adjust the height.

Travel tripod with sturdy magnet Iphone holder is my new favorite. It's so easy to use! One of the tripod legs extends for overlay shots, avoiding a glimpse of the tripod in the video.
A MUST HAVE!! This ring light is my fave! It will light up a room. I recommend using the white LED light, though it comes with an orange filter. It includes a phone holder, though I recommend the attachment below.
